Dreaming of a California Sunset

I grew up in northern California.  In the summer, the hills between the coastal range and my beloved Sierra Nevada mountains are burnished gold, dotted with the deep green of live oaks.  My favorite time of day there is late afternoon, when the sun grows soft and casts deep purple shadows.

The stones in this set remind me of those California sunsets... citrine and amethyst chips, and round matte Indian agate in dusky, twilight tones.
